Maldives the South Asian Football Fedaration Champs

Last night Maldives Overwhelmed India and won the SAFF Champion Ship in Srilankans stadium. This was the 1st time when Maldives defeated India in Saff. Both team played well with in the 1st half but in the second half Maldives took the possession and as a result Muhthar Nameer Blasted a powerful shot which was perfectly planned and Scored his 1st goal for Maldives. With in the match serious injuries also took place. I clearly want to point out the Injury which Ali Ashfaq was suffering through the match. Indian Defender Anwar made a curious foul to Maldivian Goal Scorer(Muhthar Naseer) too. In my view India lost the match because of overconfident. However, India coach ( Bob Houghton ) was laughing before the match. So that clearly classifie meratol s that they weren?t even serious for a Final. In the 1st match against India also Maldives was dominating the 1st half but the early goal some how affected the squad but Still they worked super hard to make their and Supporters will to make true. But unluckily Maldives lost that match in a score of 1 nil. But for the finals they worked so hard and did every thing that they can do with the available resources they got and won there 1st South Asian Football Federation Champion Ship in 2008. The One thing which all the Team were afraid of was Maldivian Supporters. Although Maldives won this tournament the own a big thanks to Supporters who threw there life?s to support them. In the finishing ceremony except on award all others were Maldivian.
